You mean 3 schools that always go deep in state playoffs and typically have affluent parents that potentially could be donors!?  Why would we ever want any kid from those schools

Agree. Might as well pull Bryce Drummond’s scholarship.  Sure wouldn’t want him to get a little playing time.

Oh I am interested in their talent but they rarely show interest in us. When we get them they seem to either flip to a “better” school or leave before graduating. But we rarely land them. Of course we will recruit them. Can’t ignore these programs. But we seem to get little reward from our efforts.

Yeah, simple cost/benefit analysis. Benefit hasn’t been there in these efforts.
