Here's the situation:
The DRC is printed by The Dallas Morning News. Up until the last few weeks, the DRC was among the last publications printed each day. The schedule has since been changed by the DMN. The DRC is now the first publication to go to press, ahead of USA Today, all editions of the DMN, The Wall Street Journal and everything else.
That switch makes it impossible to get late sports in the printed version of the paper.

On the face of it, St. John's doesn't sound very impressive. Nothing like Rubbin going to Michigan.
I looked it up, St. John's actually averaged over 10k a game last season. Many voices have been telling us over the years that we need to pick up our attendance if we want to be able to get to the next level. I don't doubt that at least played some part in losing Aaron to St. John's.
Private equity is going to get involved in all college sports no matter the level. The next step will be High School. You are in a way experiencing it now at SMU, just no return.
