UNT Kuehne Speaker Series reports record fundraising year including $1 million gift from series benefactor

I don’t believe I’ve ever read where it explains what a “deserving student” actually is.  In this instance, as I understand it this scholarship goes to students who must work in order to pay for school.  As someone who also had to work while attending school I think this is an excellent program, and I believe they helped around 400 students last year.
