NT get easy win over Alcorn St.  67-31

Only negative was NT had 30 turnovers, not going to beat any good team with that kind of sloppy play.

George with 18 pts. and 12 rbs.  McDowell a freshman had 14 pts and 9 rbs.

George is the key piece to this team. Since TB is gone, it's gonna be rough for shooting and ball handling.

Freshmen making freshmen mistakes. Alcorn played a full court press most of the game and turned us over. Sheppard didn't play due to injury and I didn't see Terrell with the team. Also, freshman Thompson picked up an ankle injury during the game. Silver lining is that our freshmen are getting lots of important minutes, but it could be a long, learning curve type of season.

Actually, very encouraged by freshmen's play.  McDowell at only 5'11 appears to be a force in the paint. Boyd, Jackson and Thompson all had good moments.

George appeared to really benefited from her playing in international competition.
