His offenses put up big numbers at FCS Eastern Washington, and he should oversee another prolific offense because he inherits stud QB Mason Fine. The 32-year-old spent two seasons at Eastern Washington, running an offense that averaged 43.1 points and 528 yards per game, which ranked fourth and third in the FCS, respectively. More impressively, Eastern Washington reached the FCS title game in 2018 despite losing starting quarterback Gabe Gubrud to a season-ending injury in Week 5. A big season in Denton could translate into a bigger Group of Five offensive coordinator job or maybe at the Power 5 level.
