will this latest latest tweet-storm cause any of the morally righteous, fiscally prudent, ethically christian conservatives to start distancing from their most vocal representative? or is everyone so invested in their team's brown-shirt jersey that they'll make excuses for this blatant racism again as well?

I find my stress level is better managed when I don't worry about what the head clown writes on his twitter feed.  The public knew what they were getting when they elected him.

Dude's been like that since ever and he was taught to operate that way by his own father. Either the voter knew and wanted this or wasn't paying attention.

I knew he was a trainwreck and I've only been around a little over 35 years. You could see anything he did from the 80s on and know he's a mess.

The first time I heard the “Go back to the Bronx, Detroit, Cincinnati”  statement, I heard it to mean go back and clean up your own states/cities first.  Never heard the Somalia comment.

I think the lessons we learn from Trump is that if you say something enough people will believe it and if you act foul enough people will grow numb to it.  At this point there is literally nothing the man could do that his base wont excuse him for.  Fraudulent businesses, overt racism, tax fraud, sexual assault, obstruction of justice and so on.  This whole shit show is a deep dive into the human condition.

How well do you think the "witches coven" (and the other members for that matter) are living up to this little thing below that they supposedly took seriously:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

How many of them recited the words and never heard them?

honestly, if it was only this I'd be sitting on my front porch with a big bowl of popcorn and a nice glass of bourbon enjoying the chaos.

GMG is a deep dive into the human condition. that's what keeps me coming back. it's an anthropological study and therapy all in one. This is controlled with no meaningful repercussions (save for the occasional redneck wanting to fight you in the Apogee parking lot)

A racist president does have real life ramifications. it's dangerous. it emboldens the worst of our society. it normalizes the caging of human beings. and the weighting of political biases over principle on the part of this racist's supporters is either cowardice or acceptance.

strong, opinionated women are witches?

is it really your take that criticism of American policy, practices, ethics and ethos is not supporting and defending the constitution? because if that really is your take I'll ask...what exactly is MAGA, if not criticism of American policy, practices, ethics and ethos?

I'll hang up and listen.

"they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."

Above is the exact quote, and while I am tired of his constant childish tweets, nothing in that quote above is racist.  Call it insensitive, moronic, stupid, etc... but it is not racist.

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....it is done

here is the actual full quote. pardon me...here is the actual full racist quote.

The public--goaded by the mainstream media--elected a "reality TV" star as President.

Let that sink in.®

Why anyone is very surprised at what comes out of his mouth is beyond me.

Point out what is racist in each of these quotes.  They are incorrect, since they are all U.S. citizens, insensitive and demeaning, but there is zero reference to race.  People like you assign race to this comment to make it inflammatory.  Ilhan Omar has said much worse while directly referencing a race/nationality of people.  Where was your disdain at that?

No, the public elected a businessman and "reality TV" star as President because the Dims rolled out Hillary Clinton who is about as likable as a popped collared smuT fan and overtly corrupt.

Why do we slam Trump for his choice of words when he has been called a racist, a xenophobe, a bigot, a misogynist, Hitler, etc. etc. etc. Whether we admit it or not, we are all racists. Some much more than others. That does not excuse bad behavior, but it is the Socialist/Democratic party that fosters this type of behavior on a much larger scale. I'll never forget the image of young, Mexican children lining the streets where Trumps motorcade was traveling holding signs and yelling "Fu&% Trump!" Fu&% Trump!" Do you EVER see conservatives doing this? No. Even at the height of the Tea Party and Obama's occupation, you NEVER saw that type of behavior where people are attacked my masked fools, buildings burned, property destroyed, people threatened with their lives for having opposing viewpoints. Dems foster this and have made no effort to hide the fact they want to do away with the Second Amendment and the Constitution in general. THAT is why Trump got elected. Not because were all racist. Because we want a strong economy, lower taxes, a strong military and a leader with backbone who wont back down from people and governments who continually take advantage of us economically politically and militarily. We have liberated and helped countries with billions of dollars and have for decades. No, Trump isn't perfect but clear thinking people will look at our economy, the stock market, the opportunity to succeed. Trump isn't perfect, the country isn't perfect and we are not perfect. We do the best we can and don't want the government dictating how to run our lives. Some people want to be victims because I suppose it's easier than getting off your ass and working hard to make yourself a success. If we're constantly looking to blame others for our situation, then we're destined to fail. Trump has lifted this country out of economic doldrums and, in my opinion loves his country and wants everyone to love it as he does. What's wrong with that? Why would a billionaire leave his cushy surroundings to take the shit he takes on a daily basis? To destroy lives? To oppress others? BS! He does it so we can all share the bounty this country has to offer while getting government out of the way of our right to pursue happiness. If some would rather be "victims" so be it.

Thank you. That is all. Oh,

Correct me if I'm wrong: you're trying to separate the characteristic of color from the characteristic of country/origin.

I don't know if that's entirely possible.  I mean, by definition, you won't find "country of origin" in any dictionary for "racism", but given the history of the racist culture, the political usage, etc, I think the association is strongly implied.

EDIT: These were US-born non-Whites.  I can't get past the idea that, if they were white immigrants, he wouldn't be making these comments.

telling a person of color to go back to where they came from and separating them from "people of the United States" is racist. plain and simple.

which Omar comments? on Israel? "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." that one? she apologized for the "hypnotized" aspect as an unintended trope, but the sentiment is one I happen to share and agree with. put simply...criticism of Israel, Netanyahu, expansion of settlements and the United States' often default support of the narrative of one protagonist and one antagonist in Israel/Palestine is not criticism of Judaism, Jews and is certainly not Semitic.

first off...paragraphs, brah.

the "c'mon...we're all a little racist" statement is pretty telling...but that aside, this isn't Uncle Hunter Green complaining about rap music at Thanksgiving. This is the president. and if pointing out racism and decrying it rather than shrugging one's shoulders or masking it as has been the case for decades in this country is your idea of fostering and proliferating racism...again, that might speak more to you.

maybe you're right...you'd never see conservatives lining the street with "Fuck Obama" signs. they wouldn't give an opinion for free when you can profit on it: https://www.cafepress.com/+fuck-obama+gifts .  give the sanctimony a break.

And this says a lot about you, "Brah." If you can't admit your shortcomings, then you're just as big a denier as the rest of your ilk. And I said "we are ALL racist" to an extent, not to justify racism or explain it away, but as a statement of fact. It would do me no use, to you anyway, to say I have several black friends, which I do and I think dearly of them. That's why they are my friends. I treat people as individuals and take them on their own merit rather than paint with a broad brush. "Racist" should not be used as a fall back when you can't win an argument.

Sorry about no paragraphs, nephew Laurie. I'm not writing a term paper.

(sarcasm font) "See!!! I"m not racist! I have black friends!!"

Racism comes in plenty of different forms. There's the outward (KKK, segregation, denying minorities certain opportunities outright), the coded language uttered by congressmen/women (republican and democratic talking about a variety of things like poll tax, states rights, etc), and the inward (unconscious and conscious bias).

Everyone's not racist. That's such a dumb generalization used to make yourself think certain backwards beliefs are accepted.
