Outlook: Wilcox led Cal to its first bowl appearance since 2015 in just his second season in charge of the program. The turnaround resulted in a spike in recruiting, with the Golden Bears landing their second consecutive top 50 class. If this program is going to take that next step, it will need to fix its offensive woes. The team lacked big-play capabilities, with just one offensive play spanning 60 or more yards. The defense should be strong again, which will help take pressure off the developing offense.
