i just remembered this was happening this morning.  I emailed and FB messaged the Alumni Association about it but never heard back... I wonder if it actually sold out.  I think you had to buy tickets by the 10th. 🙄

Our daughter, grandson, and a friend went to the game.  Grandson got his picture made with Keegan.

The alumni association bought 325 tkts for this event, sold all those and had a lot of walk-up sales. It was a great alumni turn-out. Keegan was a super ambassador for the school. Great publicity.

Aren't Deuce and Daisy (RoughRider mascots) prairie dogs as well? This is a big state, but it still seems too small to have two teams that claim prairie dogs as part of their identity.

How was Keegan’s pitch? Was it better than Masons?

How in the world do Roughriders have prairie dogs as mascots?  I love the mascot in Amarillo and that the varmit is found in that area.

Not sure how or why, but Deuce was their original mascot in 2003 and is a prairie dog.
