Very relevant for us, as we rely on a handful of JUCO recruits every year. Of particular note, the Arizona CCs have stopped playing football. We pulled a few guys out of AZ in recent years.

Jucos used to be a good value for us in terms of immediate impact players.  It still is if you consider Torrey and EJ etc.  In the old days the big programs didn’t go there as much as they do now though.  So it is harder to find the good ones.  I sometimes wonder if the jucos went away it might help us.  Case in point Demeco Roland.  He goes juco because it means he can reload his p5 options and get a clean grade report.  If there was not a juco option we might be able to convince him to attend as a student and get 24 hours and become eligible.  At least that used to be what you could do.  Any thoughts?

I think the loss of JUCO’s hurts the big boys more.  All the JUCO players who have top shelf talent AND grades get snatched up by P5’s as depth.
