And as soon as I say that we go on a 5-0 run... still going to be tough without Ryan but I am happy to eat my words

That’s why successful teams run more than one offense and can go big and small and oh oh well we only know one way to play haha.

Offense has been terrible for two months

I’d argue the whole season. Outside of the first Rice game and the games against D2 schools

Horrible showing tonight. Once again struggling to get above the 50 pt mark.

The way we've been playing don't believe we should be in the first pod but with a UAB or USM loss tonight or we win Sat we're in.

Didn’t Matthew Brune also do a feature on Duffy right before he was injured? Now Woolridge...

Please call him and have him never do an article on specific players again.  We suck again....

What happened to Simmons tonight? Almost non-existent. Another hard to watch game. Not about injuries just bad play. Worst 20 win team in div. 1?

It’s looking that way.  Unreal!

It's really hard to imagine beating FIU on the road right now--or anyone else with a pulse, for that matter.  Looks like we're destined for the middle tier of the conference.  Unless we quickly get healthy and/or some of our players can up their shooting percentage from abysmal to just normal bad, we may limp into the CUSA tournament with quite a losing streak.

There were 45 predictions made for the Ohio game with an actual score (down from 54 for Ohio). Only 49% of posters predicted a win by the Mean Green.

North Texas is another team new to C-USA this season. The Mean Green will look to bounce back from the 4-8 record it posted in its final season in the Sun Belt Conference. With the exception of an early-season game against Georgia, North Texas non-conference schedule makes it somewhat plausible for them to build from last year.

If anything, the conference schedule might pose a problem. The Mean Green will face both Tulsa and Louisiana Tech.

On the other hand, UTEP might end up being challenged more by its non-conference schedule. The Miners only managed three wins last season so theyre in need of similar upward momentum.

With road games at Colorado, New Mexico and the mighty Texas A&M, nothing will come easy for the Miners. On top of all that, this season is New Mexico States turn to host their annual rivalry game.

UTEP will not play ECU this season. The Pirates beat the Miners 28-18 in 2012.

In their first season in C-USA, the University of Texas at San Antonio, it will be very tough for the schools young football program to have success under former Miami (Fla.) head coach Larry Coker.
