Tulsa: Philip Montgomery will return for a fifth season in 2019. “Coach is a good man,” AD Derrick Gragg told the Tulsa World. “He runs a clean program. He’s a player’s coach. They play hard for him. They haven’t quit.” Tulsa went 3-9 in 2018 and is 5-19 overall after going 10-3 in 2016.

Wow surprised by this. I think he is a good coach and a heck of a recruiter. Not sure why things have went so down hill there

I'm not.

When Tulsa was looking to cut money in the athletic department he took a paycut along with most everyone else. Wager they can't afford to buy him out and go into the marketplace this year.

How are you feeling about Anderson?    Think he's going to get a P5 opportunity he can't pass up?

Are the stAte fans wringing their hands like we are?

Blake’s wife’s breast cancer is out of remission and has spread he isn’t job hunting. His name got floated for Colorado before the diagnosis and no jobs since.

He will be on and off the job in the near term with Trooper acting head coach any time he has to be out.

This really puts things into perspective.  I've had quite a few stresses come up lately in (large) family life but this one makes them all seem trivial.

Had 14 month or so remission. Blake and Trooper were roommates at Baylor, having him on hand to serve as interim as needed hopefully dials down the work stress so he can concentrate on the the  important

Had a friend buried on what would have been his 48th birthday a couple weeks ago. Was out running and collapsed.

So easy to overstress the small stuff

So sorry to hear this.  We are all really just hanging on threads aren't we.  We shouldn't be sweating the little things.
