I wish when we were televised at Apogee that more shots of the big time looking part of our stadium (the Press Box side) could be seen more by the TV viewing audience.

We love our Apogee but most all the TV shots are either the Student Side or the Wing Zone.

GMG!

I've had the same thought on many occasion when watching our games on TV. Even when student section packed it still doesn't look like it is packed because only two tier area. If camera angle was from other side the stadium would look more impressive. My guess is that they need the height of the ticket holder side for best television views.

I mean honestly...who plays football on a Tuesday?! It seemed like a good game too.

Im with you Salsa, Why would someone schedule a game on a Tuesday!!! These schools are 3 hours away from each other so you are kind of almost guaranteeing no visiting Fans coming in to watch the game. College football should be on Saturdays with a couple exceptions during the holidays.

Tuesday Night Football doesnt do any school any favors in my opinion

TV is why the game is scheduled for a Tuesday night. The MAC (and to a certain extent its member schools) have said they are fine with weekday games if they are broadcasted in national TV.

This is the ESPN MACtion deal. To get on ESPN, most of their conference games are played during the week. None of their games ever have more than a 1000 butts in seats.

The MAC and SBC chose this as their TV deal. The MWC basically told TV to pound sand so as to keep their games from being mid-week. The AAC has a game on Friday night every week, as well for their ESPN game.

At some point, people in the G5s will recognize that the only way forward is regionalization for lower travel costs and increased attendance.
