Another gut punch loss last week knocks the Mean Green out of C-USA West contention.

It sucks, but may be a blessing in disguise.  The expectations are now off the guys' backs, and they can go out and play football.

I think Rice is completely confounded right now, and have zero identity.   They're throwing QBs out there and hoping one sticks.   This has to be very exciting for the entire Mean Green defense, but Brooks & Hall in particular.

I think we see scoring back up in the 40's this week, and a big reason for that will be because of the turnover battle being decisively won by the Mean Green, setting up the offense in great field position most of the night.
