Oh ya UAB is easy

Our defensive line was arguably as disruptive, we just happened to be worse in the big moments. But that clearly matters a whole lot. UAB is a good team 16 red shirt seniors will do that. North Texas didn't get it done, UAB won the day. There's not much more to it. It doesn't matter if we lost it or they won it. Ends up in the same column. Happy for UAB. I like their fans and school. Also will be happy once their exceptions era is over and Bill Clark has the same limitations as the rest of CUSA.

Our offensive line looked like hot garbage out there.  The same OL that dominated Arkansas’ gigantic DL.

I felt we gifted LATech their win...

But this time, I think Clark made halftime adjustments & their guys made critical plays when they needed them.

By the end of the game, it looked like we were playing Alabama-Tuscaloosa with how they were just controlling clock & running it down our throats.  I haven’t seen our DL look so tired/beat since the FAU game in Boca last year when Motor went off.

Face it folks, we flat-out got beat on this one.  For every bad play we made, they made one too.

We lost all momentum when we gave up that safety.  It wasn’t going well prior to that ( they were about to score), but that just deflated everything & we weren’t the same team after that.

We lost the game when they converted that 3rd & a mile on a PI.

Enjoy this year UAB.  After all your 5th-ya seniors are gone, you’ll be back to the middle of the pack with SoMiss.

They got a crap ton of help too.

Speaking of crap,..Coastal Carolina pulled out an 11 point win over 2-6 UMass.  But hey..that UAB is the bomb!

Rick

Help?  How so?

& that Coastal Carolina game QUITE OBVIOUSLY doesn’t define them, so we don’t need to bring it up anymore.

College kids should not be playing fully developed 24-25 year old men. Their number 2 DL who caused the safety is 24. I'm 25 and have been out of college for 4 years. The advantage regarding physical development is ridiculous. When it's 1 player due to specific reasons I'm fine with it but UAB was allowed to build a team of grown men and it's not right.

We’ve lost to two teams that we should have beaten.   Seems like UAB made halftime adjustments that UNT couldn’t respond to. Can we please find a way to help the o-line?

This.  Harrel doesn't make have time ajustments or when he does there is no need to (la tech game).  I am not in favor of giving this staff and extension.  Let's see if the can win a game that matters.

12-0 or 5-7 the end result is probably The Heart of Texas Bowl

Sadly, I don’t think so anymore.   However, we may have inadvertently put ourselves in a GREAT position to get in the Indy Bowl if the slot is open.

UAB will take N.O. Bowl.  LATech likes coming to DFW for Bowls & will likely choose 1st Responder Bowl.  That’s what happened last time & Indy Bowl fell right in SoMiss’ lap.
