I think that would be a good hire. However, after the Leach incident, I’m skeptical to believe Tech would hire Leavitt, given the similarities in his dismissal from USF.

We would be interviewing P5 OC & DCs so I would think it could be a quicker road being the HC now! He is a good coach and he knows the local recruiting area!

I was rooting for Tech in their game with Baylor. I think he would have survived had he gone bowling. Now at worst they look at SL directly, at best they will be hiring someone who will reduce the pool for others that may then look at SL. The good thing is that it may not go fast enough for any coach to leave before the class is signed.

It's a thought. It would basically be a trade with extra buyout cash to finance quality assistants or whatever. Not sure I'm for it though.
