It's impressive that the Academic Ranking is actually based on actual Academic Performance Criteria and not Pretty School Colors, Greek Life, and Flowers on Campus like the useless rankings released by US News

The Ivy League schools are all near the top of the list on the web site, just not on this reduced list of the schools that Play D1 football.

I have to question this list a bit, primarily because they list Ohio State as "The Ohio State University".

As far as I know, that IS their actual name. It just gets truncated for the unwashed masses.

It's their official name.

Same reason it's "The University of Texas at Austin", which by the way is why we AREN"T "The University of North Texas"
