I liked we kicked it, I like that it looked like he had room to spare, I liked it was right down the middle.

I did not dream it did I? I don't think I saw anything about this discussed the strength of our kicker was he kicking our kickoffs also? This is our new kicker is that correct?

The bolded question above tried to short circuit my brain. Hedlund only handled field goals and extra points.  As others pointed out, Zach Williams is our kickoff specialist.

Arkansas fans commented on it on their fan board.  They were having a WTF moment.   They recognized that he had great accolades coming out of high school, but I guess he didn’t do so hot for them.  This field goal has them questioning if UNT has better special teams coaching than they had.

Some people need a change of scenery.  Ask Cole Hamels.

Hedlund's kicks are odd.
@Side Show Joe & I were chatting about that during the game.

When he kicks it, there's not a big thud like you'd normally hear from a strong kicker like Moore...  but unlike a normal kick like that, Hedlund's kicks seem to continue rising/hanging much longer.
Moore's kicks last year would get up high quickly, then start descending slowly, but the original power was enough to get it through.
Hedlund's kicks seemed to rise slowly & hang up high for a long time before starting a more rapid descent.

I don't know what kind of a Mean Green fans down votes a post wishing for a storybook-like ending when North Texas plays Arkansas.

Beat Arkansas

GO MEAN GREEN

I gave you an up-vote to counteract your down vote! Maybe they wanted an up by 6 with 30 seconds left and we kick a field goal to make it two score difference.
