If we  build up a lead and qb subsitution starts, yes quinn deserves some time but he is a senior.  I think the qb of the future should get some playing time.  Even the freshman since they can play a few games and keep the redshirt.  I was watching number 17 in the scrimmage (dont recall his name( but he looked he had a rocket of an arm to me.

I would not be surprised to see Martin leapfrog Pearson.

Assuming all goes well, and we don't have a monumental Portland State type of scenario, you should pull Mason Fine extremely quickly in this game.

There's too much at stake, and although it will hurt his national statistics, you have to think about this from a longer term perspective.

It is clear from the SMU game, despite the coaches instructions, Fine will put himself in harms way for the good of the team.

This is an admirable quality, and part of why he is such a great player and teammate.  However, this is a game on paper NT should win and there is no reason to risk the entire season and lose the MVP of the program so we can bump up stats.

Get Quinn Shanbour some snaps but also take FULL advantage of the new redshirt rules (4 games) and give the young guys like Pearson, Bean and Martin some reps as well.
