Football Practice Facility

Do you think the new football practice facility will give us an edge on recruitment after it’s completed, or are we merely just “keeping up” with the trend in the footsteps of schools like UH.

Welcome to the site.

I think it will be huge, and I think it will have a major impact but you are correct - in a sense - it is keeping up with the Jones'.

That's the problem with athletic facilities, you can blink your eye and what you thought would put you at the top is now outdated.

Perfect example is you wouldn't think UT would be needing new facilities anytime soon with all that they have.  UT just approved $175 million in upgrades to DKR and I just saw an article that part of the reason Jimbo Fisher left Florida State for A&M was the lack of a "football only" facility.  While we are not recruiting against these schools, we sure want to be in a good position for the schools that we are recruiting against.
