Kelvin Smith.

TE, FB, Slot/Y. Dude is all over the place and can do a lot for the offense.

I agree with you but he doesn't seem to get many balls thrown his way.  Great blocker though and underrated receiver in my opinion.  If you look at most of Jeff's long runs last year Smith was making a key block.

Darden seems like the forgotten man on this roster and rarely gets much mention on  the preseason write ups but man that kid has talent.  I could envision him becoming sort of like a Carlos Harris.

So why Guytons disappearance last year, injury or defensive double teams/coverage?

He took a terrible hit in the Army game.  Some felt like he wasn’t quite the same after that.  Also he got a lot of attention from teams later in the year as well.

Dirty hit from England.  Go back and watch highlights of the Army game and look for leg tackles by England.  He always goes into a barrel roll at the end of the tackle trying to twist knees.  Dirty player, IMO.

🙄. Called a Hawk tackle it’s the safest form of tackling it removes the head from the tackle.  Google Pete Carroll Hawk Tackle.

Not sure what’s safe about doing that at the end of the tackle when the player is already down.  Maybe I wasn’t clear.
