Even in recruiting, I think selling a kid that we are a tourney team and need him to get further is an easier sell than telling a kid we are an NIT champion and need him to get to the tourney.  

I wasn't even thinking in recruiting aspects aspects either, but more what is gonna be the kind of thing that we look back on in a few years.  I think it's likely I'd remember an NIT title more fondly than I would getting our brains beat in by Kansas State (as much as I loved that 2010 team we had).  Especially if our team won as many as 30 games (which would probably be the case given you'd have to win five NIT games to take the championship).

 

To me the bigger accomplishment is winning the NIT.  So, that was my standard...the bigger accomplishment.

      A 6'6 guard is something NT isnt really accustomed to. We had a bunch of shorties making it rain before this. So this is pretty refreshing. Not hating on the guards of the past, but ya know what I mean lol.

      I noticed online that UTSA was offering naming rights for donations and it seemed like a good idea. Are we doing anything similar or have we tried this in the past?       Massie is roughly the same frame as Cotton and the incoming Mason. I hope this doesn't further stall their development. Time to figure out what we have in our own recruits
