Wins over Charlotte and ODU will bring us up much higher.  Let's hope for big crowds this weekend.

Road wins count for more in RPI.

Yep.  Road wins/losses have a multiplier of 1.4/0.6 applied.  Opposite for home games (0.6/1.4).  Road wins help a lot, home losses hurt a lot.

The win against San Diego was huge and gave us a boost of roughly 70 spots in the standings.  As we get into our conference schedule, unless we are able to pull out some wins against teams like ODU, Marshall, MTSU, WKU our RPI will likely drift slowly down.

We are going to be playing a few games against good RPI teams, but more games will be against teams with poor RPI.  Just the fact that we play teams with poor RPI and poor strength of schedule will have a negative impact on our RPI because it will pull down our strength of schedule.  We can't afford any losses at home or away against the bad RPI teams and somehow need to split the games against the top of the conference in order to maintain the current RPI level.
