Georgetown schedule

As of about a week ago, our next opponent Georgetown had played the easiest schedule in all of division 1 basketball. Before the Syracuse loss, they were 8-0 against teams with a combined record of 21-63 (as of a week ago). In that week their records haven't changed much so I'm considering this to still be relevant...

Looking forward to a competitive game against a nationally known program. GMG!

Edit: after a quick look, looks like those 8 wins are now against teams with a combined 24-67 record. A 9 point win against 6-5 North Carolina A&T is their best win. With Syracuse at 9-1, they've played teams with a combined 33-68 so far this season.

What's gonna make pulling this one out that much tougher is not having Tikhonenko, Gibson, and likely Duffy. For obvious reasons, but specifically for three-point shooting.

Those are all guys who, when healthy, should average more than one made three per game. On Saturday night, we only made one three-pointer by someone other than Smart. Threes are a great equalizer when playing bigger teams, especially from top conferences. Luckily this group will be together for a while, but it's a shame we aren't closer to full strength for an opportunity like this.
