UTEP is making a change at tailback, as Quardraiz Wadley injured his clavicle and Joshua Fields, who went into Middle Tennessee as the No. 3 tailback, ended up rushing for 87 yards.

"Josh Fields is the guy now," Price said. "I was very pleased with him. He's only a freshman. He has a long career ahead of him."

As for what is immediately ahead, that's a North Texas team that leads the Conference USA West, just two years removed from a 1-11 season.
