Getting to SMU

If you are going to the SMU game, here are a few resources for you.  Taking the DART Rail may be the easiest way.  It costs $5 for a day pass.  You need to get to Mockingbird Station, which is serviced by the Blue, Red, and Orange lines.  If you are getting on at a station that isn't serviced by any of those lines, take a train to downtown Dallas and switch trains there to a rail that goes to Mockingbird Station.  For example, if you are coming from Denton, take the A-Train to the North Carrollton / Frankford station and switch to the DART Green line to get downtown.  Then board say the Red or Orange line (heading North) to Mockingbird Station.

There are shuttle buses (free as I recall) running from the Mockingbird Station to Ford Stadium starting at 6am running through 1 hour after the game ends.

If you still want to drive, there are several free places you can park.  For more info:  http://smumustangs.com/sports/2016/6/8/parking.aspx

Haven't been to a SMU game before, and im assuming its a dumb question but I will ask it anyway...

With the link you sent for free parking, are any of these lots to avoid, as in people having issues with them before?

I dunno.  I've been to two UNT games at Ford Stadium.  I took the train both times.
