Lots of transfers, JC players in this group.

Lamar Roster

Seems to be the "rule" rather than the "exception" for FCS. Noticed watching the J'Ville State vs. Chattanooga game both teams were loaded with SEC transfers.

Question - If FBS transfers to FCS they do not have to sit out, correct?? Maybe the G5 should get the same rule :)

D1 players can transfer to FCS without having to sit.  This is why many FCS teams have rosters that are sometimes as strong or stronger than low to middling FBS teams.  The only thing that keeps them from having completely stacked rosters is limited number of scholarships.

I think it would be a great move, now that the P5 want to make up their own rules, if P5 transfers could go to G5 teams without having to sit.  However, I think that would piss of the P5 and they would enact some new rule that would be even worse for the G5 so probably best to leave it alone.
