We lost in 2015.  Being superstitious, we should not fly a banner this year.  Case closed.

Seth is going to be here for quite a while...he could go 0-12 this year and still coach next year. But thankfully, the precedent has been set from McCarney's firing that we will no longer allow a buyout of more than a year keep us from firing a coach.

I started to say that I recalled the cost.  then, I realized I couldn't remember anything.  But I'll contribute again this year.  Was the banner reusable ?  Checking the tape, it was a green banner with white lettering.  But no "stylized " eagle or other graphic. 

 

Please PM me for my part of the cost.

So the banner might still be sitting in an airplane hanger in Midlothian. 

http://www.bigqaviation.com/home.html is who flew the banner last time...but to be honest... I would love for a larger and better looking banner to be made for multiple flyovers.  I haven't brought it up with the new AD but I pushed as hard as I could with the last one.  I will reach out to the new AD with thoughts on the matter.

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      The ACC has a media rights deal that runs through 2036 with massive financial penalties to leave. ACC schools make more money per school than the Big 12. The PAC had no media deal and zero financial penalty to leave the conference. The two situations couldn't be more different. ACC schools do not want to associate themselves with the likes of WVU, Cincy, UCF, Texas Tech, OK State and the other Truck Stoppers.
