Current 2018 Recruiting Standpoint

Firstly, it should be noted that some kids don't have a 247 and 247 can be slow to update offer lists, but here is where each C-USA stands in regards to offers and commitments for 2018

C-USA West:

North Texas: 26 offers, 0 commits

LA Tech: 18 offers, 0 commits

Rice: 6 offers, 0 commits

Southern Miss: 68 offers, 0 commits

nUTSAck: 77 offers, 0 commits

UAB: 28 offers, 2 commits (1 4 star & 1 2 star)

UTEP: 0 offers, 0 commits

C-USA East:

Charlotte: 48 offers, 0 commits

FIU: 27 offers, 1 commit (1 3 star)

FAU: 95 offers, 3 commits (2 3 star, 1 unrated)

Marshall: 39 offers, 0 commits

MTSU: 18 offers, 0 commits

ODU: 24 offers, 0 commits

WKU: 22 offers, 0 commits

So offer # wise it appears we're towards the middle of the pack. The Florida schools of course already have a few commits. Kind of frustrating to see nUTSAck have so many more kids offered than we do.

what are your thoughts on the current state of 2018 recruiting and 2018 recruiting in general?

There's strength and security in numbers. Like Nick Saban, offer every kid there is and then it becomes a numbers game come signing day. Keep the one's you want and discard the rest.
