MGB: UNT lands top-rated JUCO wide receiver

Signed with Notre Dame out of high school as a 4-star receiver.  Played his high school ball in Allen and was teammate of OU's Kyler Murray.  Extremely talented.  Looks like he had issues at ND and transferred to the juco.

The Notre Dame issue doesn't concern me.

Bret Vito has an updated article with quotes from the Trinity Valley coach.  He said the kid has top end speed ... great ball skills ... and attacks the practice field.  I love the first two points and I'm absolutely excited about the last.  If this kid will put in the time in practice, off season conditioning, and school work he'll have the opportunity for him to maximize his potential.

Don't think this will be a problem. Guyton is a high character kid who's always been a tremendous worker. He is a huge pickup for our program. He will be able to learn in the spring and develop alongside our other young WR's. Athletically, we should look A LOT different at receiver in 2017 in our ability to get open (create separation) and make competitive plays.

We are just going to have to trust that Litrell has reasons to give this kid a second chance, but did not have a reason to give Goree a second chance.

Don't be so sure he wasn't given a second chance..

That is assuming their violations were on par with each other. We don't know the circumstances of either dismissal. I'm sure Littrell knows both reasons and it appears he does not think its an issue.

Also, I bet that Notre Dame's team rules are more strict than UNT's team rules.

I tend to doubt that.........http://www.upi.com/Sports_News/College-Football/2016/11/22/Notre-Dame-football-team-vacates-21-wins-for-academic-misconduct/4401479848995/

Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong, but I don't think the North Texas football program has ever been investigated by the NCAA.

I am not sure of anything.  Maybe the ND transfer was given multiple chances, too.

IMO, if you're not going to let the cat out of the bag these posts of your's have very little to no purpose.
