Good News: Albina Squirrel Update

Found dead in Highland Street.  The university has already sent out a video memorial for the pigment challenged tree rat.  I heard the team will wear black arm bands at the HOD Bowl and the band will play a tribute.

Hopefully, this will put an end to that secondary mascot talk.

First :eyeroll: it's never going to be a mascot.

Second, squirrels boink. A lot. We'll see another albino squirrel soon enough.

The Sarah McLaughlin video that UNT put out was hilarious.

Eleven years ago, when I bought my house, there was a random stray cat that would lay on my back patio in the morning.  It wasn't my cat, and really added nothing whatsoever to my life.  It was just there.  Then, one day it wasn't...I believe it was a Tuesday, or maybe a Thursday...really not all that important.

The outpouring of grief over a damn rodent is embarrassing.

People are wanting to commit acts of violence against the driver of the car.

If it turns out to be a police car, will there be a sense of vindication that it was at least a white squirrel?
