This game is going to be nationally televised on ESPN. UNT has invested a lot of money into its current branding. To throw away the opportunity to get your actual brand out in favor of an emblem that very very very few people would recognize would be so bad that people should lose their jobs if this happened. 

Do a throw back at home mid season at Homecoming or something.

You sir...are correct.  Thanks for the info.  I honestly thought all of those Eagles, Ducks, etc. were the same with different colors.  I'm sure there are slight variations among many of them.

Best North Texas helmet I've seen since a Mean Green fan, circa 1973!

Tweak it if need be but keep it as our #1 helmet & a big part of our  players unis.  ❓I wonder what a white wing span with green trim on Chrome would look like?

I've always wanted to see a green shiny metallic with a black SOW.  Green jersey and black pants.

Since one of Army's main colors is black, I will propose the following options:

1.  White Out: White pants w/ green trim, white jersey's with a chrome helmet with green logo/feathers.

2.  Same as above but with Green chrome helmet.

3.  If we wear dark jersey and Army their white, then the above with a green jersey and black accents.

I'm pretty sure we'll see chrome helmets. One of the HoD shirts has the chrome helmet on it already....

I really do hope the athletic department shells out some cash for a different look, even if it's just a new-helmet. 

It was cool to see how excited the team got when they were surprised with the chrome domes.

Believe me...all I care is that we win. Period. 

But I get how uniforms can be a cool perk/reward/motivational tool.

I wear a similar MG shirt over a black sweat shirt.  Looks sorta' nice.
