Pics or it didn't happen......

It was a phone call from the most reliable source.  No doubt in my mind that it's factual.  I do think it's a non-event, as I am confident we WILL win on Saturday, but thought you should know we ARE going bowling in Seth's first year.  Unbelievable!!!

Still guessing it's going to be a battle of convincing between us and UTSA for New Mexico bowl vs getting "stuck" with the Bahamas. UTSA may have an unspoken advantage because of H2H but we can argue that we are actually a few hours closer to ABQ and have a history of traveling well to bowl games, albeit closer than NM.

Secret sources aside, there wasn't even a mathematically possible APR bowl slot until AZ beat ASU.

It was mathematically possible and in fact probable.  That's different than mathematically assured, but that's how math works.

If it wasn't mathematically possible before the ASU loss then the loss would haven't changed the possibility.  Before the ASU loss it just wasn't assured.  It is now.

Just an update I found on CBS http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/bowls/predictions

Arizona Bowl Dec. 30 Tucson, Ariz. C-USA/Mountain West/Sun Belt North Texas vs. Idaho

Is Arizona to far for you?

In Tuscon vs Idaho?  Ugh.

I'll be hoping UTSA loses today.  I would take any of the CUSA bowls over that.

Again, any thing to get extra practice reps, extra exposure to solid coaching for our young kids, and in the END a great experience for our Seniors who stuck it out and bought in.  I'll take any bowl opponent we can beat.  The win is whats important not the who.
