BS. Once is an accident 2 times in 3 games is not. You may think cause we didn't score 60 on you that you won but your team took cheap little shots all game trying to prove to themselves they belong on the field with us. Pop Warner teaches you not to lower your head and launch at a knee. It may not have been his intent to hurt him but it was his intent to hit him low around the knee. I can only hope that the high school league you guys play in learns about this guy and makes a few of your players pay the same price. Luckily we took the high road and didn't retaliate.

wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong....   wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong...

breath...

wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong...

You must not watch football much...

I would recommend classes on rational thought and potentially look into lasik or something...  in humid weather, sometimes glasses can get fogged up, obscuring your vision...

It is very very unfortunate that Del Rio got hurt.  That sux for him and it sux for the entire Florida team.  Nobody wishes injury on anybody if you have even half a heart.  But dude....  come on man.  Use your eyes, and watch that play.  and the SMU "incident", you are an absolute moron to even bring up the qb running in the open field.

so again, wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong...  never let the facts get in the way of an over emotional response.  I hope other Gator fans are not like you....  but then again, the twitter blitz on the beat writer and head coach tells me that your problem is a bit more common amongst the gator fans out there...

And Wheeler's tackle on Matt Davis (SMU QB) while he was running downfield was a textbook tackle at the waist...not at the knee.  That is why there were no issues or complaints after Davis went out...everyone knew it was a clean hit, but unfortunately, his knee was hurt.  It's a tough reality, but knees get injured in football, at every level of football, every single day around the country.  The nature of the sport puts knees, and other joints and bones, at risk.  I have a couple of orthopedic surgeon friends and they get very busy this time of year!  Wheeler came out of Tyler JC regarded as a sack specialist.  He is going to get to the QB and hit him cleanly, but he will indeed hit him hard, like his nickname, "18-wheeler", suggests.

This is why coach butterteeth deserves some reprimanding for his antics...  He should have publicly apologized for his fit and contributing to his players taking liberties after the play...  and to go for 2?  what an absolute classless jackass.  I only hope that he has the sense once he reviews the actual film to publicly....PUBLICLY apologize.  in front of his fans and his team for being ABSOLUTELY IN THE WRONG.

I agree...he let his emotions get the best of him before he really knew what happened.  And he escalated the situation on the field and in social media by his poor behavior.  And erroneously stated that Wheeler had issues with low hits before.  I imagine some grad. asst., etc. told the coach he looked online and saw where Wheeler did the same thing to the SMU QB, but of course didn't take the time to see what really happened.

Retaliate? Aaron Hernandez is in jail. They have those kind of people in Florida.

Man, what happened here?    Were you cheering for FL?    Drinking heavily?

This series of posts is not like you.

I think he's tired of people not taking his MGN analysis of game film and evaluation seriously, because it typically lies contrary to popular opinion.

Hernandez played for Florida, and Gainsville PD probably needs to check their unsolved murder files for anything suspicious during his time as a Gator. The murders he committed and for which he has been convicted were in Massachusetts. He grew up in Connecticut.  He also shot someone else when he was visiting in Miami, but that guy lived. Pretty much a one-man crime wave.  Hernandez was talented and a great athlete. Too bad he's also a homicidal maniac.
