I have received a couple of letters re: MGC donation but nothing in writing re: tickets. I am thinking I read August 15 somewhere, sometime. Anything later than that would be flirting with disaster.

Thanks guys. I'll call the ticket office tomorrow and see if I can get a date from them. I'll post my findings on here, for those like me that view those tickets in the mail box like a second birthday.

For those wondering, I was told by the ticket office that season tickets will go out sometime this week or next week.

It is a vague answer, but considering all that is going on right now, I can understand. Hopefully, they will be able to pin down a more accurate date and send out an email, and maybe post it as a header on the meangreensports site.

I haven't received mine yet but I'm sure it won't be long.  Please, all of us asked for the university to step up and make a huge comitment, it's now our turn to make a huge step forward and commitment!! Get your season tickets today and show our kids that we, the Mean Green Nation, is behind them and support them during this turnaround!!! This maybe another tough year but any program that turned itself around, especially from where we were a year ago, knows it will take a little while. Let's continue to give this administration, coaching staff, and fellow athletes the support they will need for all the hard work to get us where we all want to be!!!

205 is a great section. MeanGreenTexan and I could use some more fans in there making noise.

I was pawing through some old papers and found the envelope in which last year's tickets were mailed. It was postmarked August 10. That was an internal postage meter, so my guess of August 15 receipt was not that far off the mark.

FYI, Section 207 is where I lurk.

I should work on this.  My kid is at the age where high school obligations/teenager social things are waaaay more important to her than going to North Texas games.  I'll probably have that second seat available for every game this season.  It's pretty tough to get people to go with me.  Mix the shitty product on the field with my unbearable personality, and it just isn't an attractive offer.

I was just thinking about you yesterday.  I thought maybe you had traded your green and white for purple and yellow.

Take a walk around campus at UNT and take a walk around pretty much any P5 school. It’s 2 different worlds. This is exactly why I say things won’t change until we change the profile of the student this school attracts.

      Averaged 17.5ppg and 14 rpg his senior year in High School. The guy's a rebounder's rebounder. (from his Creighton bio) • Utilized his redshirt option. • Entered transfer portal on March 31, 2024. • Averaged 4.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in just 9.0 minutes per game in the Bahamas. • A rebounding machine, he snared eight rebounds in just under 10 minutes of Creighton’s exhibition game win vs. Wayne State (Nov. 3). • Averaged 17.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per game as a senior, earning All-District honors. • Former Houston (Tenn.) High School teammate of current Bluejay teammates Johnathan Lawson and Mason Miller, where they were coached by Mason’s dad Mike Miller. • Was also an All-Region 8-6A wide receiver on the football team, leading the team in both receptions and touchdowns. • Father Vance is the offensive line coach for UNLV Football who has also worked at Virginia Tech, Memphis, Georgia and Clemson in his career.
