Perhaps obvious advice, but worth considering.

I know most of us are bothered when a student-athlete who we hoped or wished would be a difference maker leaves the UNT football program.  I doubt if I am the only one who wonders "did they gain anything that will help them or others along their path through life"?  Yeah, I'm also among those who are disappointed they didn't bring in on Saturday year after year, but after noticing the woman being interviewed as part of an NPR program on the "WASP" pilots was a professor at TWU, I thought I'd look her up and see what was being said about her online.  I think she has some pretty good advice, not the least of which is "attend class" (sort of like the old "show up" cliché, but more to the point).  Anyway, maybe some of our incoming student athletes could find something useful here:
