Quarterback?

He seems to have the chops for a school in the mid-FBS spectrum. Sounds like Texas Tech dropped the ball on him? I like his enthusiasm but I also think we have one of these on the roster already. Isn't Demarcus Smith in this same relative story line? I realize he was a JUCO, but the same basic small school to big school story. Dakota Prukop could work out here in the spread, but I get the feeling our new ball coach will want to build a QB from the ground up. That usually means a Freshman or Sophmore. Who knows.. after what we have been through, ANYONE should be in the running here if they can play. Good article.

This kid is way more accurate than Demarcus and would come in having started the last two years. Just like in recruiting I think kids aim really high on their schools they want list but reality sets in. Probably a long shot he comes to UNT but he would be a nice bridge between next year and a high school kid Littrell signs.

He's not going to transfer to one of the worst G5 FBS programs in the country. These guys had dreams of going big time FBS but had to settle FCS out of high school. It will be a chance for him to go through the big time recruiting battle and see some of the best programs in the country. Things he problably wasn't able to experience out of high school. It's P5 or bust at this point...

If I were Seth, I'd just flat out look for a talented QB. Size be damned. 5'10'" with quick feet and a good arm would be my only criteria.
