I did not.  I live out here in Midland and was watching the highlights of the Midland/Permian game that was played Friday night.  Decided to research Midland's QB since he had a big game and saw #1 had caught a lot of his passes.  Was surprised to it was McLane Mannix since he had played at Midland Christian, where one of my boys attends, the past few years.  I did not realize he had changed schools.

It seems like the purpose behind this thread has still not been taken well. The purpose behind the recruiting forum is to update everyone on who we are actively recruiting.

If there is a player we are not recruiting who one of us would like to see us recruit, posting about them on here does nothing. In that circumstance the coaching staff needs to be contacted, so something can actually be done.

This thread has just become a default thread for people to post about players we aren't recruiting. That is not what it was intended for. It was intended to encourage reaching out to the coaching staff about these type of players before posting about them. Please don't take this personally, as I am simply trying to reiterate this for everyone.

Noticed multiple coaches and the UNT gridiron page have started following Patrick Sullivan, WR/FS, Parkland. Has an offer from UTEP. Mainord is one of the ones following him so I'd assume being recruited as a WR but not entirely sure.

I came across this kid from North Richland Hills and he looks like he would be a promising conversion from LB to S. I havent emailed this to staff but wanted to see what yall thought. His HUDL Videos are from last year but he has updated film from this year on his twitter.

Kid threw for 144 and 2 TD's and ran for 50 and 1 TD against a damn good Allen team. During the season he threw 2915 with 40 TD's and only 2 Ints on 295 attempts. Ran for 728 and 9 TDS

Perhaps this thread should be deleted and you create a new one pinned to the top but without the option for anyone to post to it.  That way it's always there and anyone who clicks it has to read the disclaimer that they need to contact the UNT coaches and how to contact them.

I found Jeff Wilson's East Texas clone. His name is Marcus Tucker from Winnsboro. They run the wish bone, and his highlight video is pretty much him running for long TDs.
