Some good news for UNT Football!

We are not alone!!  Four FBS teams are 0-fer: Kansas, NMSU, Wyoming and UNT. The other good news is that historically almost no one goes 0-12.  Also -  Jeffery Wilson had another good game!  Go Mean Green!

I really hope you're right, but who is the victory against?  Looking at the remaining schedule as objectively as I can, Portland State, UTSA and UTEP are really the only teams I see us having any chance against this year.  Maybe you can throw MTSU into that mix and hope we have a bad weather game where we get a LOT of turnovers. 

If this team has stopped believing, as some have suggested, we're staring 0-12 in the face.

Recruiting at UNT is hard enough without the additional negative of a win-less season.

To any players or coaches reading this - prove me wrong PLEASE, prove me wrong.  Put this up on the bulletin board and call me every worthless fan name you can think of...I'll be happy to admit I was wrong.

      Doesn't seem new, but unlimited transfers

      I can't blame them, the system in place allows them to profit and to move freely. We may not like it, but it's the system. I'm hoping schools taking over the collectives, it's already happening for reasons I stated above, will usher in contracts and buy outs for players. We've opened Pandora's box so we aren't going back to amateur sports, the best we can get out of it is payment on our investments.

      Agree, there was some semblance of programs doing the right thing and following the rules even though they were always getting busted for violations, and everyone knew cheating was going on. It's why I was saying the veil is off now, and making everyone play by those rules has supercharged the whole thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the schools aren't supposed to work with NIL collectives to get players right? But everyone including UNT is 100% working with these collectives to send out deals to players. Same kind of fake rule following like we used to have, just more of it now.

      I’m not the type who’s going to say, “I’m done with college sports” and that be it. I’m moreso the guy whose interest is just going to wane to the point that I don’t watch anymore. It would actually free up a lot of time that I could be more productive🤣🤣
