UNT answered several of its key questions heading into the 2015 season during spring practice.

The Mean Green seemed to adequately adjust to the defensive coordinator Chris Cosh and his scheme following the retirement of John Skladany, head coach Dan McCarney’s long-time right-hand man. UNT also continued to develop a comfort level with a new batch of offensive linemen who are scheduled to take over for a host of cornerstone players who graduated after last season, including Cyril Lemon and Mason Y’Barbo.

But like all teams, UNT still has plenty of issues to work through in the fall before opening the season on Sept. 12 against SMU.

The following is a look at three …

1. Who will start at quarterback?

UNT has struggled mightily at quarterback ever since Derek Thompson finished off his career by earning MVP honors while leading the Mean Green to a win over UNLV in the 2013 Heart of Dallas Bowl. UNT started three quarterbacks last season and returns two of them in Andrew McNulty and Josh Greer. UNT lost a third quarterback who started three games last season in Dajon Williams, who left the program in the offseason.

1. What is your quest?  I seek a bowl invitation.

2. What is your favorite color?  White... no, Green!

3.  What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow eagle?

"ever since"? I thought it's been only 1 year since Derek Thompson was here.
