DURING THE SEASON: Special teams play. I put in evidence one 100 yard ko return by Darvin Kidsy (record?), and a punt downed at their 1 yard line by Kenny Buyers. Has this already been mentioned enough? I just wanted to make sure it was. Yes, a mistake was made, but when you keep putting the team on one guy's shoulders all the time, what do you expect? That is all.

Haven't we had a couple roughing the kicker penalties this year? That seems to have reduced the aggression, hence the fake Southern Miss punt.

If Special Teams have improved, why aren't we running our own fakes? I know that Mac is an inherently conservative coach, but c'mon! If you're truly putting your team in the best positions to win, then that to me means you run a couple of fakes to keep the opposition guessing and to inject life and enthusiasm into the crowd/team if it's executed properly.

Our team too easily surrenders the momentum to the other side and rarely this year is it able to wrest it back.
