  1. What say ye? Are you warming up to this 2017 class on a second glance? Why? Why not?
  2. Here is a summary of the CUSA recruiting classes. http://collegefootballnews.com/2017/2017...s-rankings C-USA ranking 2nd in G5 group, just behind AAC (SMU's conference). http://www.sbnation.com/college-football...g-day-2017 Overall not too bad from a conference perspective. We beat out Mountain West and Mac/Belch
  3. With the final 2017 recruiting class starting to take form, North Texas saw several new additions this past week. Reports indicate North Texas has 20 spots to give in this 2017 class, so this is a smaller class than the typical 25 you can sign. With a week to go, North Texas currently sits at 16 commitments, meaning if all hold firm, you are probably looking at round 3-5 more spots left to give. Littrell also may decide to keep a spot or two in his pocket for a late qualifier. Overall, the Mean Green are ranked #11 in C-USA which does give weight to class size. North Texas’ top commit is Notre Dame transfer wide receiver Jaylen Guyton, an explosive receiver who is already enrolled. Cleburne athlete Tre’Von Bradley shows up at #2 and Houston Heights cornerback Cameron Johnson holds the #3 spot heading into the final stretch. North Texas landed several commitments, cornerback Jordan Roberts from Ardmore Oklahoma, tight end Hunter Gieser from SW Christian in Ft. Worth and offensive lineman Jacob Brammer a 6-4, 275 pound tight end (who will likely move to the o-line) from Foster HS in Richmond Texas. A number of key recruits will be in Denton this coming weekend for their official visits.
