  1. Just wondering if anyone on this message board can provide additional details regarding the SMU Tailgate Event that is currently being promoted by the Mean Green Online Ticket Office. The description from the website reads: $95 Tickets & Tailgate Package, 2 Endzone Tickets, 2 Tailgate Tickets, Spiriki Mean Green Club Membership $135 Tickets & Tailgate Package, 2 Sideline Tickets, 2 Tailgate Tickets, Spiriki Mean Green Club Membership I'm trying to find out which sections these tickets are being culled from, and whether or not the Mean Green Club will be hosting the tailgate again this year. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  2. DENTON – On Friday afternoon, North Texas director of athletics Rick Villarreal presented Mean Green fan Chance Slater with a pair of Apogee Stadium HUB Club tickets for the SMU game on Sept. 6. Slater, a North Texas fan since he was a student here in the 1990s, was the winner of the Mean Green Club’s National Student-Athlete Day raffle on April 24. He and his son, Cole, and wife, Robbie, will also attend the Texas game in Austin prior to the SMU tilt on Sept. 6. “I wanted my son to grow up with this atmosphere, coming to the stadium and watching college football,” Slater said. “We really like Apogee Stadium, and this will be our first time to experience the club level. We’re pretty excited.” For more information on how you can support North Texas student-athletes, visit the Mean Green Club page or call Jessica Hulsebosch at 940-369-8916. 3. John was introduced at the Mean Green Caravan in Dallas but I thought it was high time he was given an introduction here. John's title is Senior Associate Athletic Director / Executive Director of Mean Green Club. Prior to joining UNT he held the position of Nittany Lion Club Director of Major Gifts and Annual Giving at Penn State. Here's a link to the MeanGreenSports page with John's contact info and picture as well as the rest of his staff. He has an impressive resume and I know you will join me in welcoming him to UNT and supporting his efforts in building The Mean Green Club. Go Mean Green!
