I'm starting to really get into the game and would like to rep our school. I'm finding a hard time finding stuff (tees, covers, maybe a bag?) except from sorta shady websites. Has anyone seen a good stuff or know where I can look? Thanks!

And now to happier things. A championship where we have one of the teams that have a real shot at winning this thing: Men's Golf. It is also about having a good enough shwoing to make the regionals in case we don't win the conference. UNT started of in the final pairing today with the other favorites Charlotte and UAB. You can follow the results at http://www.golfstatresults.com/public/leaderboards/gsnav.cfm?pg=teamPlayer&tid=10619 At the moment, not quite halfway through the first round UNT is tied for second, with UAB having taken a four shot lead.

The Golf boys are currently playing are 22nd after 2 of 3 rounds at the Aggie Invitational. That is a very good tournament with a good number of ranked teams. 2nd would be awesome. A good result would be important since in terms of making the regionals UNT came in a bit on the bubble and needs a good showing to have a shot of making the regionals in case they don't win the conference Tournament.

So Carlos Ortiz is playing the Utah open this week, and made the cut. At -7 he is 6 shots behind after 2 days, and tied for 24th. Remember that a win would get this UNT alumn automatically promoted to the PGA tour this year. if he doesn win another one this year, he will be going there next year anyway.

The Golf regional is about to start. My hopes are high for this team. It won't be easy but qualifying for the finals is absuletly possible. They need to get 5th out of 14 Go boys.... and a better start than usual this time please
