  3. 15,488 season ticket account holders. This graphic shows where they are located throughout the state. Pretty cool and makes me wonder if we have one as well. My thought is if you start studying who and where our are you could start focusing your attention on building those. 4. Are you going to the Mean Green's game in Austin on August 30th? Do you know how you are traveling as yet? Well, if not, I have a great opportunity for you to head down and back the same day with a group of Mean Green fans. Roy Metzler has chartered a bus for the trip down and back. The bus will leave at 1:00PM from his Metzler's BBQ location on Teasley lane here in Denton. You will be dropped off at the Mean green tailgate area in plenty of time to tailgate before the game and will be picked up after the game for the trip back to Denton. It's BYOB and food (and of course your own game tickets) on the bus to keep the cost down to $65.00 per person. It is a "kid friendly" bus, so families are welcome. BUT...only 12 seats remain. I expect they will go fast on a first come, first served basis. So, if you are interested, just give Roy a call at 940-391-1593. Sounds like a great way to go and avoid all the hassles of driving down I-35, and the price is certainly right. Besides, you will be enjoying the company of a bus load of great Mean Green fans....and just think of the celebrating on the way back after beating Texas!!!! Ok, interested? Give Roy a call. GO MEAN GREEN...BEAT TEXAS!!!!!
  5. Guy is a season ticket holder whole nine yards, grad -- huge UT fan. Anyway, here is the interesting thing. He was legitimately concerned about the UNT opener. He said there is a lot of stuff going on inside the program, "culture change" etc.. no true leaders have identified themselves. Half the team has not "bought in" to the Strong philosophy. Said Strong is making examples out of some of their best talent due to trying to instill discipline. He thinks Strong will be a great coach but that the change of the guard leaves them very vulnerable at the start of this season. He thinks Strong wants them to struggle/earn things a bit early on and will not try any trickery... it will be line it up and run it up the gut for the most part. He is convinced that if UNT doesn't turn the ball over they will make this a very close game... perhaps even win???? Anyhoo we're three months away but I already started getting my juices flowing about this game. Gawd this will be a long summer!!
