  1. Jeff Luster has joined the UTSA staff as director of operations, effective immediately.   2. Luster comes to Southern after two seasons at Hill College in Texas. A 5-10, 170 pound point guard, Luster helped lead his team to a 25-9 record this season and was named an Academic All-District selection. He started in all 34 games he played in, averaging 5.8 points per game, while shooting 77 percent from the field. He shot 39 percent from the three point line and dished out 5.1 assists per game. Luster is a native of Keller, Texas where he prepped at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth. He played three years and started two seasons for coach Tommy Brakel and the Panthers, earning All-District and All-Conference honors. He was the district MVP his senior season, while helping the Panthers to three district championships and three trips to the regional semi-finals. Luster is the son of Jeff and Shay Luster.
