  1. I hadn't really been following this story -- but it is extremely tragic. What blows me away is that Penn State hired the coach at Vanderbilt who was in charge when it all happened. And now this guy James Franklin is claiming he lied about seeing the video tape to his players.... so Penn State hires THIS guy after all the shat they went through with Sandusky?? Unbelievable! read more: http://deadspin.com/james-franklin-claims-he-lied-about-seeing-vanderbilt-r-1643928752
  2. Was I the only one who wondered -- why in hell would Penn State hire a guy who presided over a program with a serious rape allegation case? Well guess what the plot thickens... ----------------------------------------------------------- According to The Tennessean, which reported on the court filing: The filing also includes a new allegation about interactions between the alleged victim and former head football coach James Franklin and former director of performance enhancement Dwight Galt — both now at Penn State University. Referring to records, the attorneys said the victim was contacted by Franklin and Galt during a medical examination four days after the rape to explain "that they cared about her because she assisted them with recruiting." It went on to say that at some point, "Coach Franklin called her in for a private meeting and told her he wanted her to get fifteen pretty girls together and form a team to assist with the recruiting even though he knew it was against the rules. He added that all the other colleges did it." Read more: http://www.pennlive.com/pennstatefootball/index.ssf/2014/04/penn_states_james_franklin_iss.html
