SHREVEPORT -- To be drawn back into coaching, Gary DeLoach needed the right opportunity. His longtime relationship with Bradley Dale Peveto and the Northwestern State coach’s need for a defensive coordinator to replace Brad Laird turned out to be just the chance DeLoach needed. DeLoach, who sat out last season, will be back on a college football sideline in 2012 after Peveto hired him to replace Laird on the Demons staff. DeLoach’s hiring is subject to approval by the University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors. “I’d been wanting to get back in,” said DeLoach, who was defensive coordinator at North Texas State from 2008 through 2010. “I was waiting for the right situation.
