Heart of Dallas Bowl UNLV vs. North Texas, Jan. 1: A young Fort Bend group plays for North Texas, but sophomore linebacker Jamal Marshall (Elkins), freshman defensive back Chad Davis (Bush), freshman receiver Darvin Kidsy (Elkins) and freshman offensive lineman Dominick Walker (Austin) are getting playing time. Kidsy has played all 12 games for the Mean Green, amassing 16 receptions for 151 yards. Marshall has played in 11 games, recording 17 tackles, while Davis has played in nine with three tackles. UNT continued to quickly fill out its recruiting class, especially when it comes to offensive linemen, this month. The latest player to add to the list of UNT commitments is Fort Bend Austin offensive lineman Dominick Walker. Walker, 6-5, 275, actually committed to UNT a couple of weeks ago, but I didn’t get him on the phone until this afternoon.
