OK a very interesting week on the 2013 GMG.com Pick'Ems contest as we saw our top dog Chief Rising Eagle hit the peace pipe a little too much and found himself with a slim one game lead over some rising competitors. There were a couple games that really stung our players this week, one was Iowa State vs. Tulsa where the Golden Hurricane sputtered and the ISU to win trend was only 63.2%...An even bigger killer was Louisiana Tech versus Army where La. Tech was trending 62.5% and ended up getting blown out. The biggest missed game of the week was North Carolina vs. East Carolina. North Carolina was trending 76.4 to win on GMG and let ECU take them to the woodshed! We had just TWO players hit all 10 games out of over 100 participants so a big congratulations go out to adman and untbowler :congratulations: who tied for first in the week 5 standings.. also untbowler would you please update your avatar you are a celebrity now and we need a damn picture. There is a 3-way tie for 3rd place with 97and03, foutsrouts, kbking, outoftown and Travis all tied up at 9 correct picks. Then there is a HUGE logjam at 8th place and some new names on the leaderboard scene who are looking to be in the hunt... There are two games trending close to 50/50 right now... Rice AT Tulsa and Florida Atlantic AT Alabama Birmingham...the La. Tech at UTEP game appears to be very interesting choice this week with a 68.5% trend favoring the Techster's at this particular time... I could very easily see a 3 or even a 4 game swing this week and our top guy is only 1 correct pick ahead of 5 guys tied for 2nd!!! Chief Rising Eagle, you have done a nice job for 5 weeks but I am going to have to predict that this week you will have to step down from your high horse at the top.
