  1. I've long been a fan of the College Football subreddit for its humor, in depth analysis and reporting, and just overall good community. The subreddit's main Moderator, /u/Honestly__ went and represented during CUSA Media Days and got some great interviews in of Mason Fine, E.J. Ejiya, and Seth Littrell. The rest of the Reddit thread is a goldmine of good Q&As.
  2. /u/dybuell from the College Football Subreddit is back again this year with his new batch of wallpapers for every FBS team. You can find ours here: http://picsurge.com/g/mJypMx I'm going to message him to see if Carlos' green could be a little less... spearminty. I should note his post that I linked to has him providing a tonnnnn of current resources for this year's season, not just these desktop wallpapers.
  3. http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/2hqog3/the_rcfb_brick_fund_v_the_magnificent_seven_flair/ I had mentioned to /u/Honestly_ (the super coolest mod on /r/CFB) a while back that I would love to interface with him on a future comedic brick drive that the subreddit has been steadily churning out over the last year at different schools and college football locations. Of course there were other similar campaigns happening with other users who wanted in on things so the mods of /r/CFB have rolled them all into one big multi-tiered-school-brick-charity-fund-drive. CHECK IT OUT.
  4. http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/1u44ph/35_bowls_in_17_days_the_2014_heart_of_dallas_bowl/ There you go folks! Had fun with this one.
  5. Hey, Merry Christmas everyone! As some of you may recall from the midsummer, I put together most all of the UNT Mean Green post for /r/CFB's 132+ Teams in 132+ Days thread series. Well the subreddit is back with a similar series of threads for all 35 bowl games this season in the 35 Bowls in 17 Days. I am making the post for the Heart of Dallas Bowl along with a UNLV poster. I want to make this particular post fun, so if you know of any cool things I should include, let me know! Also, anyone who watched or witnessed any past iteration of the HoD, give me the inside scoop on which game has been the best in its short tenure. Thanks and GO MEAN GREEN!
  6. As the first glorious saturday of football season dawns, I'd like to point out that the 132+ Project over on /r/CFB is complete. All in all, the fans of 161 schools came together to represent their alma maters and show the world what it means to be a fan of these institutions. The master list for all 161 can be found here. I highly suggest that those of us who plan on going to away games look up that date's team in this list and see what their fan base has to say about their school, town, and best bar locales. If nothing else, this is a tremendous resource just to learn about the wonderful world of college football in gestalt. Additionally, some absolutely stand out posts include the California PAC-12 schools, the awesome failure that was Stony Brook's post usurped by Lane Kiffen and the Bronies, and much of even the FCS. Have fun! And one more time, here's a link to ours: 132+ North Texas Mean Green.
  7. Hey guys. So as I mentioned a few months ago, I took up the call to represent our alma mater in the 132+ Project on /r/CFB, which is detailing every single division 1 college football school in the nation during the offseason. Today was our turn and I just submitted my post ten minutes ago. Have a gander! I made sure to make it a comprehensive doozy. http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/1how8l/132_teams_in_132_days_north_texas_mean_green/ This post has been promoted to an article
  8. Hey folks, So a user named TexaninNYC and I will are participating in a grand series of Reddit/r/CFB threads that is covering 139 college football teams in as many days to fill the time before the 2013 season. Essentially, fans are asked to go in depth and profile their alma maters in glorious Reddit fashion for all the upvotes, praise and discussion of 47,000 Redditors in the College Football subreddit. Example, today's profile of the Tulane Green Wave: http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/1bnz54/132_teams_in_132_days_the_tulane_green_wave/ Rather than attempt to compile all of the information required myself (w/Tex'n'NYC), I figured why not open it up and crowd-source this? So, if you have anything in particular you want mentioned in this format, please do not hesitate to PM me. We have some time to make this good - they obviously did not take much of the conference realignment picture into their scheduling, and thus we've been lumped to present with the rest of the Sun Belt in early July. Ugh, I know. So anywho, fire away!
